Meet Keith Mueller (President) Keith graduated from Valparaiso University, IN, in 1990 with a BS in Education. He helped start Lutheran Benefits Group (previously called Lutheran Health Care Group) in September of 1991. Keith is licensed in both life/health and property/casualty lines of insurance. He has the Certified Professional Service Representative (CPSR) designation, the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation, along with the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Keith manages the Michigan office and is well educated in providing extensive protection in all areas of insurance.

Meet Karl Mueller (Benefit Associate) 40 years in the Insurance and Financial Planning Industry has well equipped Karl to guide your group and employees in choosing the right health care plan for quality, care and to fit your budget. He is an active participant in many professional associations and has earned numerous professional degrees. All this while diligently serving his church and being honored for his leadership as Lutheran Layman of the Year for Michigan in 1994. Karl along with his son, Keith, were the founders of the Lutheran Benefits Group (previously called Lutheran Health Care Group) which now provides medical protection to approximately 80% of the LCMS workers in Michigan.

Meet Brian Evanson (Benefit Associate) Brian joined our agency in May of 2007. After 22 years in Manufacturing Management, Brian made a career change to join the Lutheran Benefits team. His experience in management has allowed a smooth transition in to the health care industry. As a life long member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church with 12 years of Lutheran Education, Brian has a passion in assisting our Churches in being good stewards with their health care budget.

Insurance can be confusing at times and Kathy's friendly personality helps our members understand or resolve any issues concerning their coverage.     "I love working with the Lutheran pastors, teachers, staff and families in our Lutheran Association. Assisting our subscribers is a great source of personal satisfaction to me."    Kathy works directly with our carriers to process your changes, deletions and additions as well as to help answer your specific coverage questions.
